Dear Ladies,
I want to give you an update on where you could purchase The Excellent Wife book and the study guides as well as the rest of my books. Most of my books were published by Focus Publishing in Bemidji, MN. This company was started by Jan Haley who is a retired kindergarten teacher. Jan is now a homebound senior and she decided to sell her company to Shepherd Press who now has all the inventory of Focus Publishing books. Shepherd Press now sells The Excellent Wife (& study guides), Becoming A Titus 2 Woman, Attitudes of a Transformed Heart, Biblical Counseling in Practice Vol. 1 (Vol 2 is almost finished) and Precious Truths in Practice. Before Jan sold her company she withdrew from selling on Amazon, so Amazon is out of some of the books. Shepherd Press is in process of getting my books back on Amazon. Also, Christianbooks.com sells my books. There are probably others, too.
Shepherd Press is also in process of revising the cover of The Excellent Wife. By October (this year, 2026) it will have the NEW cover. The book contents will be the same revised edition as before.
My other books are published by P&R Publishers and are available as before. They are Tying the Knot Tighter (co-authored with Pastor John Crotts), Modesty (co-authored with Pastor Kent Keller), Damsels in Distress and The Faithful Parent (co-authored with Stuart Scott).
I apologize for any confusion this has caused, especially with some retailers being temporarily out of The Excellent Wife book. Christian Books (see link above) will have it in stock by the end of this month (April 2026) and hopefully Amazon will soon, also. God has especially used The Excellent Wife book powerfully to help wives and for His glory for thirty plus years. Lord willing He will use it for many more!
